Dry skin, a big problem in winters

With the lovely winters comes the problem of dryness of the skin. Winters are a blessing for people with oily skin. As their skin stays neutral during this weather but people who have dry skin all year round face a dilemma. The additional dryness because of the cold weather causes many problems for people with dry skin.

You need to change your skin care routine to suit the needs of the skin because of the strong cold weather. The usual care will not be sufficient. Do you change your skin care routine during winter? If not, then you should.

The most important role in the skin care is played by moisturizer. You should buy a moisturizer which has hyaluronic acid in it. Because of hyaluronic acid, moisture is attracted to the skin and it also helps in preserving the moisture on the skin. This ingredient is usually found in high-end moisturizers because it is quite expensive.

Another important addition for the cold weather is the increased use of glycerin. You can find this ingredient in many soaps. You should buy and use a soap which has glycerin in it. It will help in keeping your skin moisturized and nourished. You can use masks to moisturize your skin during the cold weather. Also, a quick massage of glycerin over the skin will help in blood circulation and also in nourishing the skin.
